Quantum Algorithms on Real Quantum Computers

B.Sc. graduation project. Textbook quantum protocols implemented in Qiskit and run on real IBM hardware, to measure the gap between the ideal circuit and the physical one.

Implemented and analysed superdense coding, quantum teleportation, and the Deutsch and Deutsch–Jozsa algorithms in Qiskit.

Each circuit was executed both on an ideal simulator and on IBM Quantum hardware. Comparing the two characterises how gate errors and decoherence degrade circuit fidelity in practice — the same question that would later drive my M.Sc. work, on protocols simple enough to isolate the effect cleanly.
